Teeth whitening is an aesthetic correction of the color of the teeth, which is performed under professional supervision in dental offices.
Our clinic offers home whitening with the Opalesence brand. Procedure: first impressions of the teeth are made in our clinic, from which our technician makes trays. Trays with Opalescence gel are worn first during the day for a few hours and then all night.
Transient sensitivity may occur during whitening. If this problem occurs, it is recommended to use sensitivity paste during whitening, or to skip whitening overnight.
During bleaching and 7 days after bleaching, it is advisable to follow a white diet, exclude foods and drinks with a high content of dyes, such as blueberries, Coca-Cola, coffee, teas, red wine, beets, turmeric and others.
Opalescence whitening has its contraindications, e.g. gingivitis, extensive fillings in the front part of the teeth, active periodontitis and others.
